About PlanVoyager
A public-interest technology initiative addressing U.S. healthcare cost challenges and coverage access barriers through transparent, AI-assisted plan analysis.
Our Mission
Healthcare plan complexity creates significant barriers to appropriate coverage for millions of Americans. The information asymmetry between consumers and the insurance market contributes to both underinsurance and cost inefficiency at national scale.
PlanVoyager was developed to address this challenge through technology. By leveraging publicly available government data and transparent calculation methodologies, the platform provides neutral, accurate plan analysis that was previously available only through professional insurance brokers.
The initiative focuses on populations with limited access to insurance guidance: self-employed individuals, gig economy workers, early retirees, and rural communities without local broker services.
PlanVoyager is not designed to sell insurance. The platform does not receive commissions, does not share user data with insurers, and does not favor specific plans or carriers.
All analysis is based on publicly available data with documented methodology. Users are directed to HealthCare.gov for official enrollment.
The goal is to reduce informational barriers that prevent Americans from accessing appropriate healthcare coverage.
